JOHANNESBURG - Sello Seitlholo has been removed as the Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation.
President Cyril Ramaphosa issued Seithlolo with a letter of removal on 30 June.
Seithlolo was appointed Deputy Minister of Water and Sanitation on 3 July 2024 and has been a Member of Parliament (MP) since 2019.
His active political career took off when he joined the Democratic Alliance as a Provincial Campaign Director in North West in 2017.

His role involved extensive community engagement and addressing local government issues.
In a recent social media post, Seitholo penned a letter of gratitude to the DA and his family, who he said supported him.
"I would like to thank my party, the Democratic Alliance, in particular John Steenhuisen, who identified and gave me the opportunity to serve in one of the highest positions in government. I do not take this for granted.
"There are hundreds, if not thousands, of people I need to thank for having made the past two years the best years of my academic journey," he said.
