Seven EMPD police officers arrested

JOHANNESBURG - Seven Ekurhuleni Metro Police officers have been arrested on charges of murder, attempted murder and defeating the ends of justice.

The Independent Police Investigative Directorate confirmed this today.

Five Constables and two Inspectors allegedly attacked four black males at a shack in Langaville, near Tsakane.

One of the victims was shot and killed, while another was wounded.

The officers are expected to appear in the Tsakane Magistrate's Court tomorrow.
