Seven killed in Durban mass shooting

DURBAN - Seven people have been killed in a shooting in KwaMashu, Durban.

Their bodies were found lying near a railway bridge.

Vigilantism is suspected as reason for the killings.

KZN SAPS spokesperson Jay Naicker said police arrived at the scene just after 11pm.

They found 18 9mm spent cartridges on the scene.

"Police received information on the scene that the men were living under the bridge and were involved in criminality in that area," Naicker said.

He said police are investigating the incident.
