Sex worker murders trial | Witness back on the stand

JOHANNESBURG - The third witness in the trial of alleged sex worker serial killer Sifiso Mkhwanazi returns to the stand.

The sex worker was the last to see one of his victims alive.

The 21-year-old has admitted to killing all six of the women he stands accused of murdering.

But he denies the murders were premeditated.

Mkhwanazi also denies the rape charges saying the sex was consensual.

The bodies were found at his father's panel beating workshop in Johannesburg in October 2022.

Last week, the court held a trial-within-a-trial looking into the admissibility of his confession to his father.

The court has found that statement can be used against him in the main trial.
