Simon's Town fire rages on

CAPE TOWN - A wildfire is burning for a third day on the slopes of Simon's Town.

So far, 450 hectares of land have been burnt in the area south of Cape Town.

While this signals the beginning of fire season in the Western Cape, officials are warning that this year might be the most extreme since 2015.
