SONA 2024 | In conversation with Minister Bheki Cele

CAPE TOWN - Police Minister Bheki Cele said it's all systems go for the State of the Nation Address in Cape Town.

Cele and Police Commissioner Fannie Masemola conducted final security checks on Thursday morning.

The minister said President Cyril Ramaphosa and Treasury have been sympathetic to security matters in the country.

"We believe and we are hopeful that after this three-year cycle [of] 30,000 training we'll be given more."
