Stage 5 blackouts until 4pm

JOHANNESBURG - Stage 5 blackouts will be implemented from 10am until 4pm on Tuesday.

This is due to the failure of four generating units overnight.

Eskom will give another update on Tuesday afternoon.

Due to the loss of 4 generation units overnight, Stage 5 loadshedding will be implemented from 10:00 until 16:00 today. Eskom will publish another update this afternoon.
