Stage four blackouts extended to Friday

JOHANNESBURG - Stage 4 power cuts have been extended to Friday.

Eskom says units at the Kendal and Majuba Power Stations have tripped.

Stage 4 will be in effect through Thursday and Friday with the possibility of lower stages on Saturday morning.

The utility has been battling renewed generation capacity problems over the last few days forcing the country back into rolling power cuts.
