JOHANNESBURG - The state has concluded its arguments in the bail application of disgraced former top cop Shadrack Sibiya.
Prosecutor Advocate Velile Makasana has argued that Sibiya knew exactly what he was doing when he raped an 18-year-old teenager.
Makasana has refuted Sibiya's version that there was consensual sex.
For now, the former Deputy National Commissioner remains in custody.
He will spend another weekend behind bars.

Meanwhile, the defence has focused on the human trafficking charge, arguing it lacks sufficient evidence.
Sibiya is expected to find out on Tuesday whether he's granted bail or remains behind bars, until the start of trial.
