JOHANNESBURG - Michael Lomas took his bid to not be extradited back to South Africa as far as the European Court of Human Rights.
The state is using this and other facts to fight against granting bail to the corruption accused.
Lomas was brought back to the country from the UK in September last year and launched his bail bid in December.
He faces 65 counts of corruption related to his role as an Eskom contractor in the building of Kusile power station.
His application for temporary release continues in court.
