Suspects linked to Nomzamo tavern shooting back in court

JOHANNESBURG - The five suspects linked to the Soweto tavern shooting are back in court on Tuesday.

At least 16 people were killed when gunmen opened fire at a tavern in Nomzamo Park, Orlando East in July.

Police believe the shooting was linked to illegal mining and cable theft in the area.

Thirteen of the victims were from Umzimkhulu in KwaZulu-Natal.
