Taxi violence | Port St Johns suspects released

PORT ST JOHNS - A case against 11 suspects accused of taxi violence in Port St Johns has been thrown out of court.

That's after it found there was insufficient evidence.

The suspects have now been released.

Three people died in a shooting in the Eastern Cape town on Tuesday.

Police recovered 15 firearms including pistols, AK 47s, shotguns and rifles.

They also seized 328 rounds of ammunition.  

A team of detectives from the Provincial Organised Crime Unit is now hunting more suspects.
