Tensions rise between shack dwellers and Motherwell residents

GQEBERHA - The Nelson Mandela Bay municipality is relocating all informal settlements in danger zones susceptible to flooding. 

The metro has over 150 informal settlements.

This is already causing tensions, as Motherwell residents are objecting to the move. 

Mayor Babalwa Lobishe says they don't have a choice as residents have to relocate to safer areas.
