Thabo Bester | Lamola: Bester and 'Dr Nandipha' to be deported from Tanzania

JOHANNESBURG - Thabo Bester will have to be deported back to South Africa to serve his sentence.

Justice Minister, Ronald Lamola says it's possible that Nandipha Magudumana will also be deported, since she was in Tanzania illegally.

He said, "what is the difference between this process and the one with UAE and Malawi? Firstly is that in this one: one of the fugitives is a convicted person. Thabo Bester so it's straight deportation case for him to come back and serve his sentence."

"The second one is the doctor [Nandipha] there is a warrant of arrest related to her. They are also going to look at the best possible way to bring her back."

"She's in Tanzania illegally...they can also deport her back to South Africa."
