KWAZULU-NATAL - Police in KwaZulu-Natal have been busy overnight.
They've killed three cash-in-transit suspects in shootouts in Marianhill and Inanda.
This after SAPS received a tip-off about gang members hiding out in Marianhill.
During the operation, the suspects opened fire at the police, who retaliated by shooting dead two men.
A gun taken from a guard during Wednesday's heist in Richmond has been recovered.
In another incident, a third suspected CIT robber was shot dead in Inanda township.
It's believed he resisted arrest and shot at the police.
He's suspected of being part of a gang involved in multiple robberies.
