MZINTO, KZN - Three suspects have been arrested for possession of and dealing in drugs worth R1.6-million in the Mzinto area on the south coast of KwaZulu-Natal.
The main suspect, a foreign national from West Africa, was arrested on Friday.
He was found in possession of crystal meth and an undisclosed amount of cash, which is suspected to be the proceeds of crime.
Further investigations led police to his girlfriend’s home, where the woman was found in possession of cocaine, crack cocaine and crystal meth.
A third suspect, a foreign national from a central African country was also arrested.
He was found in possession of almost 5,000 heroin capsules and nearly 800kg of heroin powder.
