Toyota, Ford recall several vehicles

JOHANNESBURG - It seems there's no end in sight to vehicle recalls in South Africa.

The latest recalls come from Toyota and Ford.

The Japanese automaker told the National Consumer Commission that 58 Hino 700 series vehicles are being recalled for a fuel pump problem.

Ford is recalling 438 Ranger XLT and Wildtrak models sold between February and 18 March 2025.

The Exhaust Gas Recirculation valve may fail.

Ford is also recalling 26 Puma models sold between 28 April 2022 and 25 September 2023.
