CAPE TOWN - South African National Defence Force (SANDF) troops will hit the ground running in the Western Cape on Wednesday.
The operation forms part of efforts to combat gang and drug-related violence in the province.
Thembisile Patekile, the Western Cape Police Commissioner, has called on communities to support law enforcement efforts, urging them to embrace officers who are dedicated to protecting and serving.
