Convicted murderer Ntuthuko Shoba's bid for leave to appeal his conviction and sentence has been dismissed.

JOHANNESBURG - Convicted murderer Ntuthuko Shoba's application for leave to appeal his conviction and sentence has been denied.

He had filed the bid to overturn his murder conviction in the Johannesburg High Court.

Shoba was found guilty of orchestrating the murder of his 8-month pregnant girlfriend, Tshegofatso Pule, in 2020.

He's now serving life imprisonment.

Judge Stuart Wilson says there's insufficient grounds to grant the appeal.
