Tshwane slams Rand Water over ‘misinformation’ about supply issues

PRETORIA - Rand Water is accusing the City of Tshwane of refusing to impose water restrictions and to conserve water.

But the metro is hitting back, saying it's Rand Water that is crippling their systems with constant breakdowns.

Rand Water sent out a tweet saying Tshwane was refusing to communicate water conservation messages.

Tshwane says this is unacceptable as it implies they are the cause of the ongoing problems.

The City says it rejects what it calls a 'lack of direct communication and misinformation by Rand Water'.
