Universities still waiting for NSFAS funds

JOHANNESBURG - Higher Education and NSFAS have promised to ensure all qualifying students are funded this year.

But some universities say they've yet to receive money owed to them from the student financial aid scheme.

Wits, which will be increasing fees this year, says it's yet to receive money owed to it.

The university says it's important that NSFAS communicates in time, so students can register.
