US Embassy Notice | Experts warn people to be cautious
JOHANNESBURG - The United States terror threat warning must be taken seriously, according to the Institute for Security Studies.
It says to give such a specific warning there must be credible intelligence.
President Cyril Ramaphosa brushed aside the alert, saying South Africans will be warned if necessary.
He says a terror threat warning released by the US government is quite unfortunate.
Ramaphosa added that the country's safety and security agencies will alert the government about any threats.
