International Relations Minister, Ronald Lamola, says the United States will instead have to come to DIRCO's offices for the handover of the G20 Presidency.

The tough stance follows the US Government's decision to send a Chargé d’ Affaires instead of President Donald Trump or his Vice President JD Vance to the summit for the official handover.
Presidency spokesperson Vincent Magwenya insists the G20 Presidency will not be handed to a junior official as per Washington's wishes.
