CAPE TOWN - Cape Town's famous New Year's Eve fireworks display at the V&A Waterfront will go ahead as scheduled after a court in the Western Cape dismissed the SPCA's attempt to halt it.
The city initially granted the centre a Noise Exemption Permit for a 5-minute display.
That permit was retracted after the city received objections, but it was reinstated after an appeal.
