KIMBERLEY – Five people have drowned after their makeshift boat capsized in the Vaal River.
Rescue teams are still looking for another person in Douglas, where the Vaal and Orange Rivers meet.
The boat had about 20 people on board when it capsized on Thursday.
It is reported that the boat was ferrying people from one farm to another when tragedy hit.
