JOHANNESBURG - Over one million South Africans have experienced some form of violence in the past five years.

That was revealed in the latest Stats SA report on the Victims of Crime.
Stats SA speaks to South Africans to gain some insights that are not in the official reported crime stats.
More than 63 percent of the victims of housebreaking did not bother to report the theft.
UCT associate professor and Director of the Centre of Criminology, Professor Kelley Moult discussed this with eNCA.
