Victims speak out as fraud charge laid against Joburg mayor

JOHANNESBURG - A criminal complaint of fraud has been laid against Johannesburg mayor Kabelo Gwamanda.

It’s linked to his investment company, iThemba Lama Afrika.

Those who laid the charge claim they were tricked into investing with the promise of big returns.

The Democratic Alliance is supporting the complainants' quest for justice and accountability.

But Gwamanda’s party AL Jamah-ah says the allegations are petty politicking by the DA.
