Voting extended in some parts of Zimbabwe

JOHANNESBURG - Political Analyst, Misheck Mugabe says the delays in Zimbabwe elections are intentional and reveal that the elections are not free and fair.

Voting hours at some polling stations in the major cities of Harare and Bulawayo were extended this Thursday morning.

Opposition leader Nelson Chamisa says this is part of plans to rig the vote.

Voting in Zimbabwe's elections spilled over to a second day after long delays were experienced at some polling stations, mainly in opposition strongholds.

Some of the delays were caused by ballot paper shortages.
