Wage talks: Public sector unions acting irresponsibly, says analyst
JOHANNESBURG - An independent economic analyst has slammed public sector unions, saying they're acting irresponsibly.
Unions have vowed not to back down until government agrees to a 10 percent pay increase.

Several public sector unions are to protest on Tuesday, seeking to disrupt public services including healthcare.
The Public Servants Association says it isn't accepting government's response that there's no money.
''Let me give the facts because South Africans are trapped in a culture of victim mode," said Professor Dumisa Bonke.
"It's very unfortunate, we're talking about issues of life and death.
"With Eskom there's money always required to fix things, when public servants say they don't care, it's irresponsible."
