JOHANNESBURG -The accused in the "blue light" highway assault case will only hear if they'll get bail next Tuesday.

Deputy President Paul Mashatile's protectors are accused of beating up three civilians on the N1.

The eight face charges of assault GBH, pointing of a firearm and malicious damage to property.

This after a video of the incident went viral.

It's now been alleged a threatening message was sent to a state witness.

The message said they had made enemies by supplying the video to the media.
