WATCH | Calls to dissolve Enoch Mgijima Municipality

EASTERN CAPE - Cooperative Governance Minister, Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, has visited Komani in the Eastern Cape.

But, her visit may have been in vain.

She was in the area to calm tensions after protests over service delivery.

Residents say the Enoch Mgijima Local Municipality is dysfunctional and is failing to deliver basic services.

eNCA's Ronald Masinda reports that even after the visit the community is threatening more shutdowns.
