JOHANNESBURG - The independent panel looking into the Phala Phala farm theft will hand over its report on Wednesday.

The panel was established to determine if President Cyril Ramaphosa's conduct warrants an impeachment inquiry.

Retired Chief Justice Sandile Ngcobo will hand the report to the Speaker of Parliament.

The report was due two weeks ago, but a last-minute extension was granted.

MPs are to discuss its recommendations in a week.
