WATCH | DA challenges Phalatse's ousting

JOHANNESBURG - The DA has filed a court application challenging the legality of the council sitting that resulted in the ousting of Mpho Phalatse as Johannesburg Mayor.

The party says the sitting was illegal and should have not proceeded.

Phalatse was replaced by the ANC's Dada Morero.

Meanwhile, ActionSA says the DA is to blame for Phalatse's removal.
