PRETORIA - The State is expected to close its case in the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial at the High Court in Pretoria.

Proceedings were delayed on Tuesday after accused Fisokuhle Ntuli refused to leave his prison cell.

He also accused officials of falsely claiming they found a cellphone in his possession during a raid.

Kgosi Mampuru Correctional Centre confirmed a device was found, but denies all claims of torture.

Ntuli was transferred to the C-Max section of the prison.

Judge Ratha Mokgoatlheng has now ordered that Ntuli be transferred to Leeuwkop Prison.
