DURBAN - KwaZulu-Natal Premier Thami Ntuli is delivering his State of the Province Address this morning.
The address will focus on advancing inclusive economic growth and accelerating sustainable infrastructure development.
It will also tackle the pressing issues of crime and illegal immigration.
It is Ntuli’s second address as premier since the establishment of the Government of Provincial Unity.
Ntuli is expected to outline a results-driven roadmap aimed at stimulating economic activity, creating jobs -- particularly for youth and women -- and strengthening governance across the province.
Key sectors likely to feature include manufacturing, agriculture, tourism, and support for small businesses.
Infrastructure investment, crime prevention strategies, and efforts to improve the ease of doing business are also expected to form part of the address, alongside interventions to address illegal immigration in collaboration with national authorities.
