JOHANNESBURG - The Auditor-General found that out of the country’s 257 municipalities, just 34 received a clean bill of health.
That's a decrease from 38 in the previous year.
The decline highlights challenges that municipalities continue to grapple with, including inadequate skills and a lack of accountability and consequence management.
