WATCH | Rescue Workers praised in George building collapse

GEORGE - Approximately 700 emergency and disaster management officials have been working non-stop in George.

They have clocked over 100 hours of service since Monday's building collapse.

They have been drilling, excavating, removing rubble from the site in huge trucks, collating data, and providing meals - it is a tough job.

Benjamin De Waal from the Cape Peninsula University Of Technology's Department of Emergency Medical Sciences explains.
