WATCH | Sassa warns against scam on social media

The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) will on Wednesday morning brief Parliament on the progress made on implementing the Constitutional Court ruling on the bidding of a new social assistance payment tender.

The South African Social Security Agency has urged the public to ignore the fake social media post.

JOHANNESBURG - The South African Social Security Agency (Sassa) is warning against a scam making the rounds on social media.

The post in question is for a R700 grant application which does not exist.

The post has a link on it for people to supposedly apply online.

Sassa has urged the public to ignore the fake post.
