CAPE TOWN - Table Mountain National Park has lauded collaboration between its aerial and ground teams which ensures success in its operations.
Officials have recorded a 40% drop in robberies over the past three months, compared with the same period last year.
Other highlights include a nearly 10% rise in visitor numbers over the festive season.

Table Mountain National Park manager Megan Taplin said, this was a great achievement for them to be coordinating things better.
Taplin said there is a great coordination between the ground teams and the aerial teams in terms of finding incidents that might be happening as well as fires that might start.
"Our ground teams are able to respond quickly to that and of course our better coordination with our law enforcement partners like City of Cape Town and SAPS” she said.
