WATCH: What's next for Zwakele Mncwango?

JOHANNESBURG - The DA's KZN Chief Whip Zwakele Mncwango has resigned from the party.

Mncwango says members of the DA are afraid to speak out or challenge the party leadership.

In a statement from the DA, the party claims Mncwango had been planning his departure to Action SA for the last month.

They say he must come clean as to why he saw fit to enjoy the perks of his office in the KZN legislature during the period he knew he was leaving.
