After Rand Water’s planned maintenance, many households went for days without water.
It's only now returning, but residents say the outage is just the latest chapter in an ongoing water crisis.
The City of Ekurhuleni admits that system recovery was slower than anticipated.
The water is finally starting to trickle back in Bedfordview but this is doing little to alleviate the frustration.
Residents here have lived through the same cycle of water disruptions, over and over again.
They want a permanent solution, better planning and clear communication.
Until that happens, they say their confidence in the system remains shaken.
