W.Cape e-hailing drivers threaten protests over lack of safety

CAPE TOWN - The Western Cape E-Hailing Association wants improved safety measures,
for its members.

Two passengers attacked and robbed driver on the way from Kraaifontein, to Stellenbosch. One of the suspects has been arrested.

The association says it has been dealing with more than fifteen incidents, since the beginning of the year.

The association threatens to down tools if e-hailing companies continue to ignore their requests improved safety.
