CAPE TOWN - The Patriotic Alliance has used fighting words to outline its election strategy for Cape Town.
The party leadership held a dialogue to outline its state of readiness for the municipal polls.
Cape Town mayoral candidate Cheslyn Daniels called on supporters to unite to win the metro.
“And today I ask you, each candidate, each ward representative, to focus, block out the noise, block out the doubt, patriots. Focus on the goals. The goal is to take the city of Cape Town.
“The goal is to bring the Patriotic Alliance to the city of Cape Town. To achieve this goal, we must trust the process. And therefore I ask you, do you believe in a united Cape Town? Do you believe in a better Cape Town? Do you believe in one Cape Town? And therefore, patriots, if you do, then stand as one and unite behind the patriotic alliance. Because today, we declare war! We declare war!” he said.
