DURBAN - KZN Premier Thami Ntuli calls for calm following the murder of ANC councillor Sibusiso Khwela earlier this week.
Khwela was gunned down at his office in Klaarwater.
The incident has raised fears of further political killings ahead of the November local government elections.
“We are calling for calm amongst the entire society and we are calling for political parties to speak sense to their members so that we do not see senseless killings.
“During the democratic process only democracy must prevail and there should be no killings that are to be a result of the democratic processes,” Ntuli said.
