JOHANNESBURG - Emergency services are on high alert in Ekurhuleni following a weather warning for heavy rains.
The Weather Services has also issued a warning of severe thunderstorms in several parts of Gauteng.
This morning, mop-up operations are underway in affected areas.
Eric Maloka of the city's disaster and emergency management, said a team is monitoring alll incidents.
