CAPE TOWN - Western Cape police have uncovered a brewery while searching for illegal firearms in Kraaifontein.
The illegal alcohol manufacturing plant was discovered on Antilope Street in Uitzchit on Tuesday.
Two Congolese nationals aged between 23 and 24 were found at the premises.
While searching for the unlicensed firearm, police say they uncovered large quantities of alcohol as well as manufacturing machinery in one of the rooms.
The two men were arrested for illegal manufacturing of alcohol. Once charged, they will appear in the Bellville magistrate’s court.
