WINTERVELD, Gauteng - The family of an 11-year-old girl from Slovo Park on Winterveld is calling for justice after their child was raped earlier this month.
A 38-year-old man was arrested for the crime and is out on bail. Community members say they fear he may strike again.
The girl's family and Slovo Park community say they hope for swift prosecution - and a guilty verdict.
Meanwhile, police say investigations into the incident are ongoing. The accused is set to appear in Ga-Rankuwa Magistrate’s Court on the 20th of June.
