Women living under siege in Krugersdorp due to illegal miners

KRUGERSDORP - A community-based NPO says women in Krugersdorp continue to live under siege due to illegal miners operating nearby.

It says government promised to deploy SANDF members to the area following numerous incidents but there's been no sight of them.

In Juy 2022, eight women were raped in the area while shooting a music video.
