JOHANNESBURG - As Women’s Month comes to a close, the fight against gender-based violence and femicide does not end.
Deputy Police Minister Polly Boshielo is leading a walk against GBV.
It comes as critics accuse police of often being part of the problem and not acting when victims report abuse.
Boshielo is also expected to give an update on steps being taken to prevent violence, protect victims, and hold perpetrators accountable.
