JOHANNESBURG - The Democratic Alliance is standing firm over a controversial billboard targeting Gauteng Premier Panyaza Lesufi.
This is despite threats of legal action from the African National Congress.
The DA said the billboard highlights what it describes as the ANC being out of touch with ordinary South Africans.

The sign reads the ANC showers in hotels, you have no water, vote DA to put water in your taps.
DA Federal Council Chairperson Hellen Zille said they would not take the billboard down.
"The Premier argues that we have tarnished his reputation by putting up that billboard. Well, he's done a good job of that himself. He doesn't need any help in tarnishing his reputation. And, you know, it's a fact. The ANC is completely out of touch with people," Zille said.
